Danye takes no time at all to bring the Rangers down quickly and efficiently. He is strategically using their weakness and psychological fears against them. One by one, each is disabled and thrown down. Worst of all, Tommy’s out of commission, and the team’s forced to retreat.

With Tommy down for the count, the Rangers go on without him as Dayne attacks Angel Grove. They take the Thunder Megazord and face off with everything they have left, but it might not be enough.

Meanwhile, on Breel – Jason, Trini, Zack and Kira are exposed to Adriyel and fight off against her legion while protecting Cavotus from the Rangers. They persevere, however, with Cavotus killing Adriyel and the Rangers. They take him back to the Emissary, who then puts Cavotus into the Vault for their protection, which puts the Rangers at unease.

Kimberly leaves a voicemail for Trini, telling her of the troubles they are facing back on Earth, leaving them and us on the edge of our seats.

Parrott has been easing us into this storyline but goes all-in on this issue, giving us; suspense, action, despair and the lingering sense of defeat. Di Nicuolo does wonders here with great action sequences, but some shotty colour work takes away at moments.

Will we see the Rangers defeated the next issue? With great action and vivid artwork, MMPR 43 goes wild.
