During this mini-series run, we’ve been unsure of how reliable a narrator Faith has been to us. Are the visions she sees and presents to us a reality? Are the events being played out truthful and as outright erotic as they seem? We may never truly know – unless we put our faith in her.

Poppy and Faith have been getting closer to each other every issue, and here we see Poppy drop the L-word on Faith. After she sells one of Faith’s pieces they go out to celebrate. Poppy’s father joins them and upon Poppy’s departure, he entices Faith to give in to her power and go on full power to control and create her dreams desires.

She gives in and feeds into her newfound powers before she finally makes her deal and becomes an artist.

We find out Ginny hasn’t seen Faith in six months and while seeing one of her art shows – Faith blows her off. Ray and Ginny both are disgusted with her and wonder what happened to her. They encounter the Gypsy that Faith had a chance run-in with a few issues back, who reveals that Faith has taken a difficult path.

Azzarello and Llovet leave this mini-series on an odd note. We are left asking more questions about Faith’s future and those ongoing events that led her to be where she is today. We are told Faithless will return in 2020 and we eagerly await its arrival – to see if those lingering questions get answered.
