Kieron Gillen knows how to tell stories and Dan Mora definitely knows how to draw them. If you weren’t on board after the first issue – how? This series has a great voice and just loves to bring you along for all the mythical background and exhilarating story. The readers are left with their jaws wide open, just like Duncan in this issue.

As we go questing with Duncan and his Gran, who still has him at gunpoint until we encounter our protagonists and learn that the red headed woman is an old associate of Grans. Unfortunately they are too late to stop the resurrection and upon their departure – are caught.

Dan Mora is one of the best in the biz right now – everything he draws, I instantly fall in love with. Kieron has just finished his run on The Wicked + The Divine, is still writing Die and I absolutely love both of those. These two together can do no wrong – and the multiple printings of this and the past issue are great examples of that statement. Read this book now!
