Dan Jurgens just tightened up his game and put out a solid issue – maybe the best of his run – in Ric Grayson standards at least. We get an excellent Talon opening here – where we actually root for Talon to take out the looters taking over Blüdhaven. That is, of course, before he kidnaps Bea.

Ric drops Zak off at the hospital after Talon’s attack on him. It’s there him and two other ‘wings hop on a firetruck to stop the looting and fires in the city. It doesn’t last long before Bea calls Ric and mentions Talon. Ric borrows a motorcycle and heads out to face off against his great grandfather.

This issue’s writing and art are huge improvements over previous issues – we didn’t get a recap of a recap! Plus great action by Talon and Ric rushing to Bea – excellent. I eagerly await next issues confrontation!
