Past, present, and future teams are finally getting somewhere. Flash and Green Lantern are still helping the Justice Society at Pearl Harbor while Sinestro, Grodd with Baby Turtle and Cheetah all try to stop them from boarding the Hail Mary (fitting) and grabbing the totality. Thankfully a long thought dead member of the Justice League appears to help them out.

In the future – Batman, Superman and Wonder-woman fight alongside Kamandi against the Brianiac controlled Justice Legion A. Wonder Woman gets the upper hand – but it all seems for not as Braniac pulls off a ‘make my monster grow moment’ to tower over the heroes.

Our biggest surprise here is having our faith restored in Perpetula’s offspring. Anti-monitor reunites with his brothers – and Hawkgirl / Starman, to face off against Luthor and their insane mom.

Snyder and Tynion really let us have it this issue – speedy progress in the past (2 Flashes), an OH NO moment in the future, and last but not least a HERE WE GO finale with the Anti-monitor.

We get Flash regular Howard Porter on art with Hi-Fi and the two do a amazing job – having the Flash styler but still making it a true JL story.

As we progress further – we see a hope our heroes will prevail. This issue builds us up to the battle we’ve been waiting for.
