After a great debut issue to this continuation of the White Knight storyline, we are treated to another amazing masterpiece in this issue. It has it all; an amazing Wayne backstory, pressure for Batman to not reveal his identity, Barbra Gordon being exposed, Azreal getting supplied by the elites, and best of all – the Mad Hatter blowing up the Batcave – wow!

Sean Murphy has created a gorgeous Gotham city, with his own unique twist on all of the Batman mythos. We saw what he could do in his previous White Knight story – and he does not misstep with this series. Each and every page is a creative pleasure. Each panel is complimented and explosively beautiful.

The ongoing storyline is only complimented by the deep-rooted history introduced and the edging action in between sombre moments in this issue. The only thing to say about this issue is that if you arent reading it – you are missing out on one of the most beautifully illustrated and well written Batman stories to come out of the last decade.
